Modern UK Festival: The best and the worst
With Reading and Leeds announcing their line up for this year. Many on social media have started to complain about UK Festivals. Stating that they have become too soft and too main stream. Here at Alt Cast were see both points of view. But join us as we look at this years festivals and previous years that we think were the best.

Ok so I picked the worst one to argue with. As the headliners of this years festival at Donnington Park are pretty sick. With Ozzy Osborne returning for the first time after headlining with Black Sabbath back in 2016. Other then that we have a whole host of awesome bands

So personally this was my favourite line. All you have to say is Slipknot, Muse and Kiss headliners. Along with A Day to Remember and Motley Crue. What more do I have to say. This is what my dream festival is. That and loads of booze.

So I partly did this blog because of this festival. Like the line up is good but it's not its strongest. Firstly Fall Out Boy, I was a massive fan growing up but since they came back I've become less and less. And now their headlining a festival which they did back in 2016. Which is no time. However there are some positives of this line up with Kendrick Lamar and Kings of Leon. Hopefully this festival can be saved with the next announcement.

This was in my opinion their best line up. It was the last time we saw the masters of emoness My Chemical Romance. Which that alone make its the best. But you had bands like Pulp, Bring me the Horizon,The Blackout and even The Midnight Beast play. Like The Midnight Beast. Who wouldn't want to go to that festival.
2000 TREE FESTIVAL 2018
This festival has slowly grown in popularity over the past few years. And to be honest I'm glad. This years line up is arguable the best they've had. Although its not the full line up yet, Its still amazing. With the likes of Enter: Shikari and Creeper preforming over the 3 day weekend. This festival is possible my favourite of the year.
So with all those festivals, its fair to say that sometimes they mess up. But sometimes the line ups are just that good you can't miss them. Honestly I think 2000 Trees festival has won me over and I might get a ticket.
